Final Primary Game of the Year in Munster   23/06/2019

The curtain comes down on Sunday June 30th on the Munster Hurling Championship when Tipperary and Limerick meet in the Gaelic Grounds. The Munster GAA  Primary Game will once again allow 44 boys and girls to play on the big stage at the hottest ticket in town.

'By the time Sunday's games are over, 484 children will have worn their county jersey in Semple Stadium, Páirc Ui Chaoimh, Cusack Park, Walsh Park or the Gaelic Grounds, sampling the unique atmosphere of Munster Championship Day,' according to Joe Lyons who is corodinator of the Munster Primary Game.

'Nine of the boys who played in the Primary Game with Kerry in 2014 went on to feature on the Kerry minor team that won the All-Ireland in 2018,' Joe states, 'and there is no doubt that the Primary Game jersey is treasured above all others.'
