Today Limerick and Kilkenny played in the All Ireland Final. 42 children were lucky to be in Croke Park for this historic occasion. Wearing the Limerick and Kilkenny colours the children were lucky enough to play at half time in the final. This was a fabulous occasion for the children, their families and teachers. It was an early start for all involved - meeting in The Barbara Ward Centre at 12.30. Despite a poor weather forecast the day was a fantastic success and a capacity crowd welcomed the children on to the turf of Croke Park.
Our two Young Whistlers came from County Cork - and teacher was keeping an eye on activities from Australia.
